Join Cheyenne's challenge

When Cheyenne was five years old, in late July 2020, she got up from the couch and said her legs felt funny and hurt. We assumed she had played too hard or had fallen. As time passed, we could tell she was struggling and just not walking right. We had taken her to our local emergency room multiples times with no answers.

The final straw for me was when she looked at me and said "Mommy, save me." So we took her to Penn State Health Children's Hospital where they ran tests, including X-rays, bloodwork, ultrasounds. They discovered it was B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-cell ALL). Doctors conducted more tests and a bone marrow biopsy to confirm. It all progressed so quickly from spinal tap to beginning chemotherapy. We were in the hospital for two weeks and Cheyenne underwent treatment during the pandemic, which made it tough for everyone.

Cheyenne is so inspiring. She always lifted everyone around her telling them not to be sad. She was always in good spirits. You almost wouldn't have known what she was going through, as she always had a smile on her face. She was never willing to give up.

Four Diamonds saved our little girl and allowed us to focus on her healing and not how we were going to pay for it. We have our active, bubbly little girl back. Thank you for all you do to help kids like Cheyenne. We are so grateful!
