In January of 2023, Noah was taken to the pediatrician and treated for what we believed at the time was just an ear infection. Over the next few weeks he continued to get worse. He was having recurring fevers, night sweats, random bruising and he was very weak and pale. I again took him back to see his doctor and upon first glance, she sent us straight to Hershey ED for blood work.

After blood work and a bone marrow biopsy, the results came back to confirm B-ALL ( B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Our lives came to a sudden halt. We were devastated and heartbroken. Our 2 1/2 year old boy was just diagnosed with cancer. We had a (then) two-month-old baby girl to take care of as well.

The journey has been full of lots of ups and downs throughout every phase of these past 2 1/2 years. His treatment plan has consisted of chemo infusions, chemo injections, spinal taps, steroids and oral chemo. There were days when he was too weak to walk or even leave the couch. He is the strongest, bravest little guy and he continues to amaze us with his sweet spirit!

Currently, Noah is in the maintenance phase of his treatment and is doing really well, with about one year left of his treatment plan. He visits the clinic every 4 weeks for blood work and continues to take daily chemo at home, with a spinal tap occurring every 12 weeks. He is growing and learning new things every day. Despite everything he has been forced to endure, he is thriving! He has occasional setbacks with low blood counts, viruses and side effects from chemotherapy. His best days are either spent running around outside and swinging with his little sister Noelle, playing with his kitty cat Oliver, watching sports with his Daddy or driving his Disney Cars. His favorite Disney Cars character is Lightning McQueen!

We believe that God has placed Noah on this journey for a reason and we will continue to use his story to help make a difference in the lives of others. We cannot wait to see how Noah uses his testimony throughout the rest of his life. Four Diamonds has been one of the greatest blessings to our family during the hardest time of our lives. We are so grateful to them and all of their supporters for taking some of the burden off of us, allowing us to focus solely on Noah and his healing.
